Handcrafted glazed ceramic water jug with bearded relief
This glazed ceramic water jug (botijo) is a handcrafted piece with great personality, featuring a rounded body, a top handle, a side spout, and a bearded man relief decoration on the neck. Its finish in shades of green, ochre, and brown creates a vibrant, shiny, and highly expressive surface, perfect for those seeking a unique, limited-edition decorative piece with folk character.
Its original function was to hold water and facilitate drinking through the spout. Traditionally, this type of vessel has been associated with daily use for drinking and keeping water cool thanks to the porous ceramic and evaporative cooling; in this case, due to its glazed finish and ornamental value, it is best presented primarily as a decorative and collectible object. Currently, this water jug is ideal for decorating rustic kitchens, wine cellars, country houses, interior patios, display cabinets, traditional restaurants, or spaces with a Mediterranean aesthetic. A handcrafted piece with soul, perfect for decor with history in Spain and Portugal.

This water jug brings authenticity, color, and visual memory. Its beauty lies in the imperfect, in the irregular glaze, in the handmade form, and in that folk air that connects with traditional pottery.
