Porcelain cup set with Chinese motifs and saucers
This cup set consists of five porcelain cups with their five matching saucers, a delicate and decorative composition designed for those who appreciate pieces with character. Its design stands out for its Chinese-inspired motifs, primarily rendered in blue on a white background, featuring landscape scenes, oriental figures, traditional architecture, flowers, and small details in reddish and gold tones. It is a perfect piece for enjoying coffee or tea with family, friends, or for displaying in a cabinet as decorative collector's dinnerware.
Original function and current decorative value
The original purpose of this set was to serve coffee, tea, or infusions at intimate gatherings, preserving the charm of carefully curated and special dinnerware. Today, this cup set maintains that utility, but also gains value as a decorative object: it can be placed in a glass cabinet, on an antique tray, on a side table, or as part of a porcelain collection. Its oriental aesthetic provides color, visual history, and an elegant exotic touch without cluttering the space.
