Lladró "Linda with basket" porcelain figurine
The Lladró Linda with basket depicts a young girl leaning forward while holding a flower-decorated basket. The figurine is crafted from porcelain with a glossy finish and combines a wide, flowing blue skirt, a light-colored blouse, a pale blue neckerchief, and a wide-brimmed white hat. The pink basket and the small flowers in shades of pink, yellow, white, and green add contrast to the composition.
With stated dimensions of 10 x 6.5 x H18 cm, it has a suitable format for a display case, sideboard, console table, or shelf, whether as part of a porcelain collection or accompanying other decorative objects.
History, design, and decorative value
The function of this piece is ornamental and collectible. The Lladró Heritage catalog identifies the model as Linda with basket, reference 01005222. The scene centers on a child figure with a serene expression, accompanied by flowers and elements of countryside inspiration.
In the Lladró Linda with basket, the volume of the blue skirt defines much of the silhouette. The leaning body, the wavy brim of the hat, and the position of the basket create a composition with movement. The base incorporates light green botanical forms that continue the floral theme.
Its combination of blue, white, pink, and green allows it to be integrated into classic or eclectic interiors, or in spaces where pieces from different eras are mixed. Due to its scale, it can be placed without the need for a large display cabinet.
