Set of Spanish Pontesa porcelain bowls
The Pontesa bowl set is composed of six porcelain bowls, manufactured by the historic Spanish brand Pontesa (Alfares de Ponte Sampaio), recognized since 1961 for its production of tableware with high resistance, technical quality, and durability.
This set was designed for functional daily use—serving food, desserts, fruits, or appetizers—but today it is presented as a vintage set with decorative and collectible value, ideal for those seeking authentic pieces of 20th-century Spanish porcelain.
A resistant and elegant Spanish porcelain set.
Pontesa porcelain: technical quality and tradition
The Pontesa bowl set is made of reinforced porcelain, a distinctive feature of the brand, known for its high resistance to wear, minor impacts, and temperature changes. The surface features a uniform white enamel, shiny and well-preserved.
Inside each bowl, a central fruit decoration stands out, with motifs of grapes, peaches, and leaves, applied using vitrified underglaze decoration, which guarantees its durability and color retention over time.
On the base, the original “Pontesa Spain” stamp is clearly visible, as seen in the images, certifying its origin and authenticity.
High-quality porcelain, produced in Spain, with its own original hallmark.
