Mahogany armchair: an enveloping piece with unique character
This mahogany Armchair with upholstery on the seat, backrest, and sides is an antique piece of great personality, designed for those who seek comfort, decorative presence, and a shape that is difficult to find nowadays. Its curved structure, its enveloping backrest, and its design with cane or bamboo-inspired detailing provide a distinguished, original, and highly visual air.
Its original function was to serve as a comfortable seat for a living room, bedroom, study, or lounge area. Today, it retains that utility and also becomes a decorative piece capable of transforming a reading nook, accompanying a side table, or providing an elegant and distinct touch in classic, vintage, eclectic, or colonial-inspired interiors.
Enveloping shape, warm wood, and upholstery with personality
This piece stands out for its mahogany structure with a glossy finish, enveloping semicircular backrest, curved arms integrated into the top hoop, cylindrical legs with a segmented design, upholstery on the seat, interior back, and sides, and decorative silver trim along the contour, visible on both the front and back. The striped upholstery in shades of blue, white, and lilac provides contrast, brightness, and a fresh character that sets the piece apart from other more conventional antique armchairs.
Its dimensions are 66 x 62 x H76 cm, ideal proportions for placing it in a living room, bedroom, large entryway, office, or reading nook. The cushioned seat offers comfort, while the upholstered sides reinforce the feeling of being nestled. This Armchair is not an ordinary seat: its curved shape, bamboo-style structure, and enveloping upholstery give it a limited, unique, and highly decorative presence.
